Employment Law: Employee Representation

"People come to me when they feel their job is at risk. They need their job to pay their bills and take care of their family. You can see the fear and worry in their eyes. It’s heartbreaking. All they want is to do an honest day’s work for fair wages and to be treated fairly. That’s not a big ask."

Rod Stephens, Founder & Managing Principal

In today’s workplace, it is far too common for dedicated employees to be undervalued and unrecognized despite years of loyalty and indispensable contributions to their employers. When your livelihood is at stake, you need a seasoned employment lawyer in your corner—someone who will listen, give you an honest assessment, and fight for your rights.

With over 40 years of experience, Synergistic Law has represented employees through some of the most challenging workplace situations imaginable. Whether you are facing harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, or need guidance on a severance offer, we are here to advocate for you. You deserve to be valued and respected at work. Let us help you protect your livelihood and secure the outcome you deserve.

Cases We Handle

Due to the volume of inquiries we receive, we have focused our employee-side practice on the following areas:

Sexual Harassment and Abuse Claims.  We represent employees who have experienced sexual harassment or abuse in the workplace.

Wrongful Termination Claims.  If you have been terminated or retaliated against for reporting illegal conduct, or fired because of your race, sex/gender, sexual orientation, religion, and pregnancy,

Severance Agreement Review and Negotiation.  If you have been offered a severance package, we will review the terms, explain your rights, and negotiate on your behalf to ensure you receive a fair deal. Consultations and negotiations of this type are handled at the attorney’s hourly rate.

Workplace Consultations.  If you are dealing with an ongoing work problem and need legal guidance before the situation escalates, we offer consultations at the attorney’s hourly rate.

Matters We Are Not Currently Accepting

To maintain the quality of service our clients deserve, we do not accept the following types of matters:

  • Claims against unions

  • Representation of employees accused of engaging in harassment or discriminatory conduct

  • Representation of employees being investigated by their employer

  • Workers’ Compensation / Labor and Industries matters

  • Unemployment claims and appeals

  • Failure-to-promote claims

  • Negotiating reasonable accommodations

  • Claims for disability discrimination

If your situation does not fall into one of the categories we handle, we encourage you to visit the Washington Employment Lawyers Association attorney directory at www.welalaw.org or the King County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service at www.kcba.org.

Our Pledge: Sensible, Honest, and Empowered Advocacy

Every case is unique, and your situation deserves an attorney who understands both the strengths and vulnerabilities of your claim. When your job is in jeopardy—or you have already been let go—you need a law firm that has been through this process many times before. Experience matters.

When you consult with us, you will receive a candid, comprehensive evaluation of your situation. We will discuss any areas of concern and give you a clear picture of what to expect in the weeks and months ahead. By the end of our meeting, you will have a deeper understanding of your legal position, any potential risks, and our recommended path forward.
